Pazhamudhir cholai (Six Battle Camps) arupadai veedu Murugan Temple is located at the temple town of Madurai. its 13 miles north of Madurai This is in the state of Tamil Nadu,India. The place is fully surrounded by naturals and beauty.And the hill is known as "Vrishabhadri". At the top of the hill Lord Muruga is standing majestically. Pazhamudhircholai is mentioned as the sixth of Lord Murugans also called as Lord Subramaniya. In this Murugan Temple the sculptures and monuments built with mountains with the concept of proyagam. In this Murugan Temple there are small Rathams and big Rathams are built with two trees. In Thai Thirunal festival the Rathams are surround all over the place. There is no navagraham in this temple instead of that one sani bhagavan temple is available in Maha mandapam.People from various place also visit the temple. Madurai city is fully covered by Hotels, Lodges and so many Mahals for staying.

Madurai has direct rail connections to Mumbai, Chennai, Kollam, Rameshwaram, Bangalore, Thanjavur, Thiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Thirupathi and Tuticorin etc. There are excellent road connecting Madurai to all parts of south India like those ways reach the Temple.

The best time to visit the Pazhamudhircholai Lord Murugan Temple is in August, when the kavadi festival is celebrated in a grand manner.We should not eat non-vegetarian while entering the Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple.
